Teachers and School Counsellors

Teachers and School Counsellors are in an ideal position to help students acknowledge that their loss is real and provide students with a safe environment for sharing feelings and structure learning experiences to deal with loss and grief circumstances. School Counsellors have specialist training in that they can offer additional support for students and offer group therapy, family intervention and develop or identify school grief and loss programs.
